‘Radical Peace’ presents itself as a multitude of various stylistic portions, one being the musical side while the other half consists of the lyric format and artwork cover. But this is the band's sixth LP to date and so far it’s very promising. Lyrics and artwork showcases a bomb following its path of destruction by ending up upon the X engraved on the cement as the gloomy darkened city lays in the backdrop - the lyrics composing of a darkened vortex of emotions and utter darkness that cannot be controlled.
As the album progresses itself after the opening tune takes off with a thunderous rage, the music persists in being fast and aggressive with its modern mellow outtakes every so often. The music plays itself in an on-and-off-again method that has the listener stuck in the middle of whether or not the music is as promising as it says. It continues to roll right along as the album goes down the line of songs and the music does improve having less mellow moments and more attitude put in full effect showing that passion that the music is putting forth.
MOB RULES’ style brings out a mix-up between KAMELOT and IRON MAIDEN with an added flare of DOMAIN thrown in the middle really capturing the band’s style up front and unleashing this overwhelming passion for the music to progress and out run itself until the very last note plays itself off.
