Album Review

The new album of Belgian industrial project PSY’AVIAH pleases listeners with the variety of styles and simple, yet catchy melodies. The beginning of ‘Introspection / Extrospection’ actually doesn’t amaze at once and sometimes it seems that the song could be a bit shorter and not so boring. But if you show patience and listen to end of the opening piece, the next track gradually start to demonstrate the potential of the record and other compositions definitely deserve to be appreciated: the music is supplemented with beautiful female vocals and interesting lyrics. The level of expressiveness also increases and with ‘On My Own’ the songs are getting better and better even in my opinion yet I’m not a big lover of such music. However I’d like to mark out a couple of tracks namely ‘Ok’, very impressive and tuneful one, ‘Song of Independence’ and of course heartfelt ‘Home’. In general the album is good enough, maybe not for everyone because anyway you should be a fan of electronic music to enjoy this creation to the full. But some tracks like those mentioned above are just meant for a wide audience.
