Nuclear Blast is more than proud to announce that our latest signing is Swiss Metal experimentalists SAMAEL. In their almost 20 year long career, the legendary quartet has evolved from Black Metal to a unique form of Dark Metal, heavily infused with electronics and grooves. The band is currently mastering the follow-up to 2004`s "Reign Of Light", and the baby already has a name! SAMAEL´s eighth album is called "Solar Soul" and was recorded in Switzerland during fall 2006. Some song titles have also been revealed: 'Solar Soul', 'Promised Land', 'Slavocracy', 'Western Ground' and 'On The Rise'. The complete tracklist won´t be announced until the mastering process is completed. Charismatic vocalist Vorph is excited about the changes in the band camp: "We're thrilled to enter this new collaboration with an album we believe to be our greatest achievement to date.
