WHITE LIES will be releasing a new record. On ‘Friends’, the British band will continue the path, treaded with the first three albums, consequently. The debut album, ‘To lose my Life’ (2009), entering the British charts on top position, and the follower ‘Ritual’ (2013) were influenced more by the darker side of music and bands like ARCADE FIRE, INTERPOL or EDITORS. On ‘Big TV’, the London based Post-Punk trio presented an extended acoustic space. Singer and guitarist Harry McVeigh, whose voice it often compared with JOY DIVISION’s Ian Curtis, bassist Charles Cave and drummer / keyboarder Jack Lawrence-Brown are over a long and successful journey and now they want to take one more step forward. Songwriting is more and more in the centre, the sound reaches astonishing depths, and the combination of keyboard-based sounds, humming guitar riffs and strong melodies and harmonies are pushed into tremendous heights. This all makes anyone expecting great live shows; the concerts of WHITE LIES are known for their variety. In Autumn, the band will come to Germany to present their new songs live on stage.
