BEYOND THE BLACK can look back on an impressive success story: With their debut album, ‘Songs Of Love And Death’ released in 2015, the band, fronted by singer Jennifer Haben, exploded onto the scene. The album remained in the Top 15 of the charts for weeks and earned them the prestigious “Metal Hammer” award for “Best Debut”.
Their follow-up, ‘Lost In Forever’ released in 2016, continued this success, reaching number four in the German charts and propelling the band on a mammoth tour through Germany, the UK, Russia, and Japan. Since 2014, BEYOND THE BLACK have thrilled fans with increasingly larger performances at Wacken Open Air and have been a celebrated support act for bands such as AEROSMITH, KORN, SCORPIONS, SAXON, and WITHIN TEMPTATION.
In the fall of 2019, they embarked on their first headlining European tour, playing to sold-out venues. Singer and frontwoman Jennifer has demonstrated her exceptional musical talent - transcending genre boundaries. They also proved it in Germany’s most successful music format, “Sing meinen Song” (Sing My Song). This success story culminated in their fourth studio album, ‘Horizons’, reaching number three in the charts.
The band used the pandemic and the resulting hiatus to be creative and launched the next brilliant chapter of their career in 2022: After a celebrated tour with record-breaking attendance in the fall of 2022, the quartet released their fifth studio album, self-titled ‘Beyond the Black’, in January 2023! The album debuted at number two in the charts, marking the band’s most successful release to date.
Following a successful festival summer in 2023, BEYOND THE BLACK embarked on their most successful European headline tour to date, “Dancing In The Dark”, in April 2024. Following several headlining shows and festival appearances in the summer of 2024, BEYOND THE BLACK have already announced their next headlining European tour, “Rising High”, for early 2026.
