PJ HARVEY was always a woman for a big show. For her newest record ‘The Hope Six Demolition Project‘, she assembled a huge band where also her producer John Parish is playing guitar. During the beginning of the show, the band enters the stage as Marching band with marching music just to lead over to a noisy winds version of the song ‘The Ministry Of Defence’.
During her shows, she doesn’t talk much but that’s not needed at all since the music, the arrangements and the lyrics sum up perfectly the intensity of her music. She is the only woman who received the Mercury Music Prize twice so far for the best album of the previous months. She was ennobled by the Queen, is politically engaged, she is one of the best singers, guitarists and song writers of our generation and probably the most influential British musicians. The live sound is usually crystal clear and takes the listener by the hand to take him around the world and deep into the emotions and thoughts of PJ HARVEY. Now, PJ HARVEY confirmed one exclusive German show in Cologne in October 2016.
