We live in confusing times, in the twilight of humanity. COVENANT return to tell stories and sing about how it feels to exist in a world that no longer makes sense - a world where you must learn to see in the dark. Their music is a triumphant embrace of the soul’s strength and resilience: a dystopian, unrelenting song of the shadows we all carry within us, beautiful like a collapsing star.
Founded on April 26, 1986 - the eve of the Chernobyl disaster - COVENANT emerged after being blown away by FRONT 242 at the legendary Stadt Hamburg venue in Malmö. The aggressive beats, the uncompromising attitude, and the pop brilliance of their song ‘Don’t Crash’ left a deep mark on them. Only five months later, Clas, Eskil and Joakim played their first show with original material. Since then, the band has performed in 42 countries across six continents and released more than 120 tracks.
In 2026, COVENANT look back on four decades of creation and invite you to celebrate “40 Years of Shadow & Sound”. At a series of extended two-and-a-half-hour concerts, the band will perform songs from every album - with setlists chosen by the fans. Founding members Joakim Montelius and Eskil Simonsson are currently working on a new album.
Charismatic British singer Isaac Howlett, known worldwide as the voice and frontman of the acclaimed synth-pop band EMPATHY TEST, is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist. With his unmistakable feel for melody, emotion, and electronic intensity, he has already captured the hearts of Synth- and Electro-fans around the globe.
After successful collaborations with AESTHETIC PERFECTION (‘Save Myself’) and BOP X SUBWAVE (‘Storm in a Teacup’ / Hospital Records), Isaac launched his solo career in early 2024 - with instant success. His debut single ‘House of Cards’ shot straight to #1 in the German Alternative Charts (DAC) and has already surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams. His atmospheric and dark follow-up ‘Endless Night’ also reached #1, proving that his solo sound is as haunting as it is danceable.
Now, Isaac Howlett brings his new songs to the stage - delivering a powerful live show blending melancholic synth-pop, pulsating electro, and a charismatic voice that cuts straight to the core.
