Soundscaping meet Songwriting, guitar textures, minimalist electronics, apache beat and some strums of the bass guitar- THE WARS revive New Wave and German Prog Rock as it was played in the 70s and early 80s. Founded in 2008 in Berlin, the trio received favourable reactions with their debut EP already. The following year would prove a more than successful year for the band who finally will release their debut album 'Healings' in March. Occupy Movement, Fukushima, European Crisis, Bin Laden etc. All things happening while the album's been in the works and which have found, one way or another, a place within the music and lyrics of the album that will drop in March.
