talktoangels hickorydickoryTaken from forthcoming album ‘This Broken Home’ due out in Spring 2012, Talk To Angels’ new single ‘Hickory Dickory’ is a tale about those little things when you first meet someone that make everything seem warmer, brighter and more hopeful…. to smile and know that it’s because of somebody else. Since forming in March 2007, Talk To Angels have not ceased exceeding expectations and surpassing limitations usually expected from an unsigned band. With an uplifting and original sound that combines the energy and aggression of Biffy Clyro and The Xcerts with the delicacy and sensitivity of Straylight Run & Manchester Orchestra.

18 months after inception, the band played a 6 week U.S tour commencing in New York City for new music giants CMJ. Such was the success of their maiden voyage across the Atlantic, the band were invited back in the spring of 2009 to play the prestigious South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.

talktoangelsWith a taste for festivals and a rapidly growing fan base that saw Talk To Angels sell out the 500 capacity Leeds Cockpit and support new British Rock superstars Twin Atlantic, the band’s first E.P arrived in the shape of October 2010’s eagerly anticipated ‘Enemies Closer EP’ on digital and vinyl. The release capped off a hugely successful year for the Bradford based 4 piece which had already seen the band play Leeds Festival and La Ferme Du Rock in France, as well as a 10 date U.K headline tour.

With a new line-up finalized earlier in the year, Mickey, Craig, Lee & George soon clicked and it was with a renewed sense of excitement and hunger that Talk To Angels re-entered the studio this past Autumn with James Kenosha (Pulled Apart By Horses, Dinosaur Pile Up & Grammatics). The results are certain to make Talk To Angels one of 2012’s most talked about British bands.
