angelusapatridaSpanish Thrash Metal hopefuls ANGELUS APATRIDA are back for the attack with a new studio album entitled "The Call", to be released on April 30th, 2012 all over Europe via Century Media Records. The band's new album has just been finished with the same creative team as their previous release, "Clockwork": It was again recorded in Moita, Portugal at Ultrasound Studio with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anneke Van Giersbergen, Anathema, etc.) and artwork was handled by Gustavo Sazes from Abstrata (Arch Enemy, Krisiun, etc.). Here is the final track listing of the album:

ANGELUS APATRIDA - "The Call":
1. You Are Next
2. At The Gates Of Hell
3. Violent Dawn
4. It's Rising!
5. Blood On The Snow
6. Killer Instinct
7. The Hope Is Gone
8. Fresh Pleasure
9. Still Corrupt
10. Reborn

ANGELUS APATRIDA guitarist/vocalist Guillermo Izquierdo checked in with the following remark: "Our new album is ready and it's damn great! Our only purpose was to put everything we have learned in the last three years into a fistful of songs that could reflect how we feel nowadays. And the result couldn't have turned out any better...it's strong, fast, immediate, sharp, technical and bloody furious!"

It's been a busy time for ANGELUS APATRIDA ever since the release of their previous album, "Clockwork", in 2010: After a support slot on the Spanish Arch Enemy tour in December 2009, this ambitious and voracious Thrash Metal quartet did about 80 (!) shows in their native Spain as well as in Portugal (including slots at all relevant festivals like Sonisphere or En Vivo) and crowned activities by supporting the Slayer / Megadeth tour there. Additionally, ANGELUS APATRIDA also toured Europe twice: First together with Skeletonwitch / Warbringer and then with Dying Fetus, Keep Of Kalessin, Carnifex and Fleshgod Apocalypse (as part of the "Bonecrusher Fest"), which helped expand the band's international visibility and showcase their high level of musical skills abroad as well.

"Clockwork" was the band's third album release and achieved phenomenal media response: Spain's leading music magazine Mondosonoro voted ANGELUS APATRIDA "Best Metal band of the year (2010)", Kerrang Spain and Rockzone Mag named them "Best band of the year (2010)" and Rolling Stone Spain finally labeled them as "The Spanish band that plays the most outside of the country". Upon release, "Clockwork" entered the official sales charts in Spain on #44 as well as in Greece on #45 and the album's first single, "Blast Off", was backed up by a very effective and vivid video-clip, which opened further doors for the band.
