The soundtrack of the brand-new Marvel superhero action movie ‘The Avengers’ is a super showcase for all Alternative Rock bands. First of all: SOUNDGARDEN! The band from Seattle is back after its reunion in 2010 with the first new studio song for 15 years! The track is called ‘Live to Rise’ and made a bombastic impression in the best sense of words, it is the title for the final credits of the the action spectacle. Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America – all big superheroes of the Marvel comics save the world together from going under in ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’. Actors in the movie are among others Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.
Equally exciting like the movies and the names of its actors are the bands who delivered a track to the “inspired by” soundtrack for the movie. Besides SOUNDGARDEN with ‘Rise to Live’, the album contains rare track of KASABIAN, BUSH, RISE AGAINST, PAPA ROACH, EVANESCENCE, SCOTT WEILAND, SHINEDOWN, BUCKCHERRY and others. The soundtrack is available digitally on 27th April 2012 and physically on 5th May 2012.
