Greek melodic Metallers FIREWIND, lead by guitar wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band-member Gus G., are soon to unleash their newest studio album "Few Against Many" on May 21st, 2012 via Century Media Records in Europe.
In anticipation of the nearing street date, FIREWIND are debuting their video-clip for the new album's opening track "Wall Of Sound" via the Century Media Records YouTube channel today. FIREWIND's Gus G. has checked in to comment on the clip as follows: "We wanted to do a different video this time, instead of the usual indoor studio shootings. So we figured we'd show the band in its comfort zone - on stage. The clip was shot on our most recent shows in Greece this past January and you can witness the mayhem that goes down when we play in our home country! Enjoy!"
FIREWIND's newest album, "Few Against many", was mixed by Jason Suecof & Eyal Levi at Audiohammer Studios (Trivium, All That Remains, Death Angel, etc.) and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Mastodon, Hatebreed, Symphony X, etc.). The iconic album's artwork was once again created by FIREWIND's longtime partner in all design matters, Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, Angra, Dream Evil, etc.), who has been working with the band since the release of the album "The Premonition". The "Few Against Many" album release is preceded by a digital release of the album's 1st single, "Wall Of Sound", which is out NOW. The song "Edge Of A Dream" features a special appearance of Finnish cello-superstars Apocalyptica. While the album's standard version will be available in the CD format as well as LP and also as Digital Download, "Few Against Many" will also be released as limited edition Digipak CD with two special bonus tracks: "Battleborn" and an acoustic version of "No Heroes, No Sinners".
Most recently, FIREWIND have been confirmed to appear at Germany's Bang Your Head!!! Festival on July 13th, 2012. Other bands appearing at this year's edition of the festival include Thin Lizzy, Arch Enemy, Venom or also Sabaton. Check out more details here.
