633arnostrobl gigglesFrance's 6:33 collaborative EP with Arno Strobl of Carnival in Coal fame now available for free download.

After the release of their much acclaimed first album Orphan Of Good Manners, French weird metal mongers 6:33 strike twice with an EP that's going to be one of this year's highlights in terms of musical eccentricity and uniqueness. If their debut showed obvious skills at melting groove with strong guitar works and metallic hints, this sophomore release goes far beyond what anybody could expect from the Parisian masked squad.

Think how could sound a Danny Elfman soundtrack revisited by danceable metal terrorists Carnival in Coal. The comparison does make sense as lead singing and lyrics writing are here delivered by Arno Strobl, former vocalist of the now disbanded Carnival in Coal, who temporarily joined forces with 6:33 for this opus. From the very first note of "Order Of The Red Nose" until the last organ breath played on the mind blowing smash hit "I Like It", the reunion of both seems like an absolute obviousness: this band and this singer had to meet and work together.

The astounding production of Emmanuel Rousseau at White Wasteland Studio is the icing on this sonic space cake. Expect one of the most original and addictive pieces of music ever recorded since the extinction of Mr. Bungle, Carnival in Coal, and the domestic unicorn (Open mind not included).

From the 1st until the 31st of May, the 26 min EP is downloadable for free on http://www.633theband.com/

Meanwhile, the band has put together a video for the song “M.I.D.G.E.T.S”, check it out at this location: http://youtu.be/a-hXccQrTLg

Expect a new full length effort featuring bonus material on September this year.
