Founded by former The Fall Of Troy guitarist/frontman Thomas Erak, JUST LIKE VINYL has been turning heads with their incendiary live shows since their genesis in 2010. Superball President Thomas Waber waxes, "We saw these guys playing at SXSW and they absolutely blew us away - they're one of the most energetic bands I have seen in a while!"
For fans familiar with the band's self-released, self-titled debut, BLACK MASS is an aggressive departure from JUST LIKE VINYL's mellower, experimental first effort. "I know this album feels like a return to form for me," explains Erak. "We experimented with doing more melodic music, but for Black Mass I think our hearts lie in the more aggressive, wild kind of rock n'roll. Though, there are a couple of surprises on the record. We truly can't wait to get out and make some trouble playing these songs live as well."
