The debut record from electronic band labXIV will be available in September 2012 on 12" audiophile-grade vinyl from Coredark Records. The six-song vinyl release date is set for September 5; the digital release will follow with additional tracks and remixes. Described as a "dark synth" act ("Who loves Dark Synth? We Do! Who loves LabXIV? We do!" - Strangeways Radio), labXIV "deftly tread[s] the line between the sterility of mid-eighties EBM and post-industrial and the melody and warmth of classic electropop" and are "set to join their fellow artists in the burgeoning Los Angeles synth scene in the international spotlight." Coinciding with the release of the 12", labXIV embarks on a European tour (following a September 1 show in Los Angeles), with dates in the UK, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Italy.
