Resurrection without torture.
After over two years of silence, MonsterGod returns to the scene and to dancefloors with its new studio album ending apocalyptic triptic Newborn Monster – Reborn Monster – Resurrected. Resurrected, will be released on October 26th.
The Polish duo consists of Smola responsible for synths, guitars and production and the vocalist - Schitter. The band exists since 2004 and has developed a mature, dark genre combining elements of EBM, dark electro and industrial music. This eclectic mix is MonsterGod's proposal for demanding fans, but it belongs perfectly well in clubs and lounges. Characteristic for the band is their fascination with work of authors such as Charles Baudelaire, William Blake, James Joyce and many more. Interpretations of their poems and essays in ominous tones create a unique gothic and dark industrial climate of MonsterGod's music.
Featured song Jerusalem is rhythmic and powerfully delivered crowd-pleaser. Apocryphal lyrics are based on the work on William Blake whose early musical interpretation is commonly considered the United Kingdom's unofficial national anthem. MonsterGod released 2 albums and 3 eps. Some tracks was featured on music compilations CD like An Electro Tribute to Depeche Mode or Dance of the Dead.
