Zeta Factory and e-grapes promotion are proud to announce the release of TECHNICOLOR NOISEdebut album of Italian electro-alternative rock band DESIGN (previous EP "4 LITTLE HANGED TOYS" was released in 2009 with British labels Copro/Casket). Technicolor Noise is a powerful 12 tracks work that should be listened to "all in one go". Design, the prolific combo from Castelfidardo, had recently anticipated the release of the album with a first single/video for "(Turn off the) sun" and a trip hop/industrial cover of famous Velvet Underground ballad Pale Blue Eyes (NREC vs DESIGN), still available in free download on Soundcloud.
Numerous are the collaborations and the electronic digressions moving the borders of alternative rock towards new, digitalized dimensions: from Technicolor Noise are already circulating, since way before the official release date, remixes of (Turn off the) sun (remix by KMfromMYills) and Fail Better (renamed Glitch Betterin a completely new acid-industrial remix version by NREC). All remixes are available through Soundcloud both in streaming and authorized free download.
To catalogue the sound of Technicolor Noise and its main influences, you might think of the huge masters of modern rock (Muse, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails), continuing, on an underground level, the path started at the beginning of the second millenium from bands like the Italian/London based Timecut. We might think of an American-flavoured pop-rock soaked in new wave atmospheres with heavy flashes of industrial, electro and post-core.
Technicolor Noise was recorded, produced and mixed by Enrico Tiberi (The Shell Collector, Brain, Resurrecturis) and Stefano Wosz (Edenshade) at Lullaby Recording Studio, released on Italian independent label Zeta Factory (Rezophonic, Klogr, Artemista, Lena's Baedream), distributed in music shops and record stores by Venus Distribuzione. It's also available (digitally only, on iTunes and Soundcloud), the EP "O.P.O.V.", containing the second single from the album "O.P.O.V." plus two remixes of the track. A videoclip of O.P.O.V. was shot by director Daniele 'Dex' Tedeschi (who did also the cover artwork of the album) and is now on Youtube (4000+ views in one day).
