Just in time for their first acoustic shows on 23rd and 24th November 2012 at the TheARTer Galerie in Berlin, EDEN WEINT IM GRAB will release their first unplugged album wearing the title “Nachtidyll – Ein akustisches Zwischenspiel”. Accompanied with chamber music, it is an acoustic journey through the EWIG history – poetic, melancholic, romantic, morbid and dark as the night. The album contains well-known older songs in new, reduced versions, sounding more pure and intimate than the originals. Furthermore, there are two band-new acoustic songs, ‘Kali Yuga’ and ‘Nächtliche Melancholie’, as well as a cover version of the DAS ICH classic ‘Kindgott’. As guest, EWIG welcomed violin player Aline Deinert (Neun Welten, Haggard, Empyrium, Die Kammer) and cellist Markus Freitag (Before I Forget). More info: www.edenweintimgrab.de
