maliceinwonderlandNorwegian rockers Malice In Wonderland recently shot a video for their upcoming single "Live For Today", taken from their forthcoming album "The Royal Brigade".

The 4 piece shot the video in their hometown Bergen and wanted to make a "classic" rock n' roll video. "We basically wanted the first single and video to showcase what Malice In Wonderland is all about. A hard rock band with attitude and edge", says front man Chris Wicked. "To not just have the performance part I surrounded myself with my favourite animals; snakes, spiders and crocodiles and we let the cameras rolling. It was a quite interesting day on the set with the film crew standing on chairs, especially when we let lose a crocodile. I guess they were afraid of their toes. However that just made the atmosphere more intense!", smiles the singer.

"Live For Today" is a very uptempo rock song. "It's about living in the moment and not over think everything too much. I think most people have a tendency to think too much about the future and forget that is right now that matters the most. I am that way myself so the song is very much written as a reminder to me as well." says Chris

Malice In Wonderland's sophomore album "The Royal Brigade" is mixed by John Fryer (Depeche Mode, NIN, Paradise Lost, Cradle Of Filth, HIM) and will be released later this year. A double single that in addition to "Live For Today" will include the album track "New Year's Eve" as well as a bonus track will be out the 1st of July. Watch the video here:http://youtu.be/5jBpOkHN5rM

About the band

Malice In Wonderland burst onto the Scandinavian rock scene with their self titled debut album in 2005. Led by hit single Lucifer’s Town the band was quickly labelled as one of the most promising underground rock acts and their fan base grew quickly with fan clubs and supporters in every corner of the world. Since then the band have toured several times in Europe and Asia, played with renowned artists like Def Leppard, appeared on many TV-shows and productions and released several singles.

Malice In Wonderland recently finished recording a new album entitled “The Royal Brigade” and front man Chris Wicked is positive about the future: “There is a whole new energy within in the group now! New music, new line up and a new area for Malice In Wonderland in general. The new album is filled with catchy, killer tracks that we are positive will please both new and old fans. We can’t wait to show people what we have been up to lately!”

If rock n’ roll is dead, someone must have forgotten to tell these Norwegians. With a new record full of bombastic high energetic quality rock songs, these guys are eager to prove that they indeed are a force to reckon with.
