DIE KAMMER, founded end of 2011 by singer Marcus Testory and guitarist Matthias Ambré, calls itself "Alternative-Orchestra". Their songs are hand-made, in approved singer/songwriter tradition. From melancholic and morbid ballads to powerful, rousing and loud popular melodies, somewhere between Folk, Indie and Rock, between Wienerlied, Grunge and high Classic DIE KAMMER had built its little home. An experienced chamber orchestra of cello, viola, violin, tuba and percussions supports Ambré and Testory with silent and louder sounds, creating that way a unique sound scape.
With unmistakable lead vocals and characteristic DIE KAMMER pulse of the tuba, the orchestra creates a magical atmosphere and an enormous range of emotions: DIE KAMMER animates to dance, makes you laugh, awakens lost memories, unduces goose bumps, makes you dream and plucks your heartstrings. "Season II: Views From The Inside" is the name of the wonderful new album, to be out on 14th February 2014.
