VIC ANSELMO: “THANKS TO CROWDFUNDING, I FOUND A REAL SENSE OF BELONGING FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE I LEFT MY MOTHERLAND”Singer Vic Anselmo has started an Indiegogo campaign to fund the recording of her third album. Some of the perks include original art by the singer and a batch of living room concerts.
The campaign has already achieved more than 50% of its total funding goal. “The battle is not won yet, but things are looking good!” enthuses Vic. The Latvian-born singer continues: “This campaign made me realise that my music enables me to connect with people, no matter where I live.”
Vic Anselmo’s stunning voice and eclectic musical style have made her a notable alternative artist. Her sensual songs reflect the dynamics of her emotions. She has been on tour with Deine Lakaien, Das Ich, Anneke van Giersbergen, and Antimatter. Vic’s new album deals with the concept of water as a symbol of transformation, power, clarity, and tranquility. The release will be dedicated to her late father, who was a Latvian seaman.
