Germany is getting silvery this summer! STAHLMANN are publishing their new album ‘CO2’ on August 28th. There will be a Single in advance called ‘Plasma’. The album of the German band from Göttingen is about chemical reactions and their effects on us. “The whole world and all kinds of interpersonal relationships only work through chemistry. It has to be right within a band, for example, but also in bed”. That’s how STAHLMANN describe their idea behind the new album. That the chemistry is right within the band can be recognized by listening to ‘CO2’. With a brute force and catchy refrains mixed with flowing synths and hard guitar elements the album creates an explosive blend like experimenting with a molecular model building set.After their debut album ‘Stahlmann’ in 2010 and as support for EISBRECHER the band caught people’s attention with their extraordinary outfit on stage. Their second album ‘Quecksilber’ entered the Top 40 of the charts and club hits such as ‘Engel der Dunkelheit’ or ‘Tanzmaschine’ paved their path. STAHLMANN is a trade mark for the young generation of hard German music, the kind of which bands like THE KRUPPS laid the foundation of. The project, founded in 2008, put Industrial sound, Metal and an intense Goth atmosphere into a test tube and by doing this they create their own distinctive music.
