Doom metal band MY DYING BRIDE recently replaced their violiste Katie, but they found a good replacement in Shaun Macgown. Also the band finished their new release 'For Lies I Sire' and it comes with a totally new website and tour dates.

They make a strong statement on their website:

A lot can happen in three years. In 2006, My Dying Bride completed work on the ninth studio album A Line Of Deathless Kings. A title that acknowledged the timelessness of the music we pour our heart and soul into. An album that revered the band's past, and also looked to the future.

And so My Dying Bride release the tenth studio album For Lies I Sire after three years of triumph and regeneration. A band reborn; made stronger by the trials put before us, and the victories that make our history. An album that delves deeper into our very essense of being.

The crowning achievement for the dedication to our art. These three years have seen the introduction of three new band members, a live album/dvd set, numerous successful shows, and of course, the return of the violin.

May we now share with you the fruit of our labours; our most impassioned exploration of the darkest musical tapestries to echo the lamentations borne of this cursed earth. Mocking the hollow promises of hope from empty words of faith and control; For Lies I Sire.  - quoted MDB
