While some German sceney journalists are already predicting the creative death of the Harsh Electro genre, top dogs Agonoize are reacting in the best way possible: with a big grin on their faces and the massive, electronic aggro-stomper “Bis das Blut gefriert” on their hands, they are effectively showing all the moaners and groaners the finger and proving all points of criticism utterly wrong by delivering a superb smasher of a track. In 2009, the Berlin Bad Boys are full of sparkling energy and sport more versatile compositions than ever before. Catchy melodies, hard beats, aggressive power and lashing shouts blend with complex arrangements, presented in Agonoize’s trademark, butt-kicking bulldozer-sound. The b-side “Seelenbrecher” is also destined to breathe life onto any dance floor with a solid electronic noise-fest. One alternative version of “Seelenbrecher” plus three club-compatible remixes are topping off this little gem of a CD-single. “Bis das Blut gefriert” is a real collector’s item, strictly limited to 1000 copies and hand numbered – an absolute must-have for fans and Harsh-Electro-aficionados! We would advise to try to grab it quickly, though, as the band’s previous limited singles were sold out fast as lightning and are now going for ridiculous prices on e-Bay and Co. So, please don’t tell us that you haven’t been warned! So, who goes to say that Harsh Electro is running through a creative low? Anyone still making that assumption after listening to this single must be seriously deaf. A hellishly delicious appetizer for the new album which is due in autumn!
