CHILDREN OF BODOM, the Finnish shredders who completed a highly successful headline tour of the UK in February, have confirmed the release of a new album, titled ‘Skeletons In The Closet’, for 7th September of this year through Spinefarm Records UK.
The follow-up to last year’s ‘Blooddrunk’ outing, ‘Skeletons…’ is a selection of 17 cover versions, some of them existing recordings, others especially laid down for this release.
COB have been recording covers since the early days of their career, some predictably heavy like “Silent Scream” by Slayer, for example. Others reflecting an altogether broader taste “Talk Dirty To Me” by Poison, so fans will be intrigued to see which of the existing ones get the final nod here, and also which news ones are added to the list.
