For 4 decades, KRAFTWERK are acknowledged as pioneers of electronic pop music. October 2009 sees the re-release of the 8 KRAFTWERK albums that all underwent a technical revision and a digital Kling Klang 2009 re-mastering. The artwork was re-constructed and enhanced with previously unreleased photos and computer graphics from the KRAFTWERK archives. All albums will be released for the first time in that form.

Sound and vision always made a unity in the works of KRAFTWERK. Their music served as source of inspiration for artists of the most different genres: From DAVID BOWIE to DAFT PUNK, from HUMAN LEAGUE to COLDPLAY, from DEPECHE MODE to KYLIE MINOGUE, from AFRIKA BAMBAATAA to DETROID TECHNO and from JAY-Z to U2. Furthermore, KRAFTWERK showed up so many development potentialities of their groundbreaking sound concepts of electronic minimalism that not remotely all of them could be realized to the present day. To fill them with life is going to be the task of future generations.

The 8 masterpieces, created and perfected in the legendary Kling Klang studio, are matchless to anything in music history. Even decades later the music of KRAFTWERK remains as unique, immaculate, profound and visionary as on its first day! Pop fashion comes and goes but the synthetic symphonies remain untouched by that.
