On 14th August 2009, the new single ‘Steig mit ins Boot’ by SEBASTIAN HÄMER has been released. He wrote that song for the recently founded club “Frogs for Future” from Rostock. The club asked him if he felt like doing a kind of anthem for them. Excited by the idea to give children coming out of socially deprived families a perspective, the song was created. The song is supposed to be a call to help, to participate, to stand up for a good cause and have fun doing it. The single will be available on all relevant download portals by 14th August 2009 and the video clip is already online here: http://www.sebastianhaemer.com/audio/news.htmlThere won’t be any physical release of the single; however fans will have the chance to order a limited number of signed copies through his homepage (http://www.sebastianhaemer.de). Initially it was planned to take a different song as single but ‘Steig mit ins Boot’ went down so well that everyone changed their minds. The song is the appetizer for the long-awaited second album that will be released at the beginning of 2010.
