'Youth’, a 4-track MCD, thematically deals with age and time. It features two ambient pieces and 2 vocal tracks featuring Marie-Claudine. Crown of the release is the title track; a cover of the SOFT CELL classic cult song. STRANGE ATTRACTOR (the duo Richard van Kruysdijk – also known from Sonar Lodge) and Niels van Hoorn (also known from THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS) is one of those special bands proving that entertainment doesn’t necessarily mean shallowness. Their gloomy "popscapes" are always on the cutting edge of contemporary production. Many underground stars feature on their CD’s: Winston Tong (TUXEDOMOON), David J (BAUHAUS, LOVE & ROCKETS), Edward Ka-Spel (LEGENDARY PINK DOTS), Peter ‘Sleazy’ Christopherson (THROBBING GRISTLE, COIL), Graham Lewis (WIRE), Richard Sinclair (HATFIELD & THE NORTH, CARAVAN) and regular guest singer Marie-Claudine (SONAR LODGE) who is also their live vocalist. On stage, STRANGE ATTRACTOR is known to create an intense atmosphere and delicately seduce the public to step into their universe. Four European tours already brought the trio headlining on many stages in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Russia, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland and Czech Rep.
