Reflections of Darkness - Music Magazine - BEATI MORTUI - 'Let The Funeral Begin' album released on May 21st

Finnish electro / industrial / EBM band Beati Mortui will release its brand new album 'Let the Funeral Begin' on May 21st through Danse Macabre Records. The album will be released as a special Limited Edition digipak version for up to 666 copies which comes with an exclusive remix CD. It will also be available as normal digital mp3 version through online stores world wide. The limited edition is wrapped into digipak covers and includes remixes from the top international acts (Suicide Commando, C-Lekktor, Eisenfunk, Centhron) and Finnish Dark Industrial stars (Proteus, Machine Park, Kuroshio, ErilaZ, ..). The album is distributed in Europe via Alive! Distribution.

The new album will be a huge leap forward in every aspect in the history of Beati Mortui. From the hard-hitting dance floor smashers to cross-over songs and industrial style guitar walls, Let the Funeral Begin will set up a new landmark for the band's history. Listeners can notice influences all the way from classical music and metal to several electro/industrial genres, representing the musical background of the members. In addition, Bruno Kramm from the legendary Das Ich, performs duet vocals on the track Deathrow. The album is mastered by Jan L., the man behind Noisuf-X and X-Fusion, who is also well known from his recognized work with several well known bands in the genre.

The opening track of the album, Vision of Hell, will be released as a digital mp3 single on 3rd of May. The single will also include remixes done by the master of dark electronics Suicide Commando and Mexican C-Lekktor. A song from the new album, Soulreaper, was recently included into the Endzeit Bunkertracks compilation, which is highly appreciated compilation especially among the DJs in the genre. Another track from the album, Prey, was also included into the German music magazine Negatief sampler CD, Dark Alliance, in May 2009. During 2008, Beati Mortui toured in Europe together with Das Ich, and played at the world's largest gothic/electro festival WGT in Leipzig Germany. Now after the new record is finished, Beati Mortui will return to the stages in late summer. Let the Funeral Begin!
