“Disintegration” is the eighth studio album and the dark masterpiece by THE CURE, released in 1989. It's the successor to the 1987 release of the outstanding album 'Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me' and with hits such as "Lullaby”, “Fascination Street“, “Lovesong” and “Pictures Of You” the band's most successful album this far. It sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Furthermore THE CURE played sold-out tours all around the globe. Polydor/Universal is going to re-release this milestone and presents a reworked edition of the original recording and an additional CD, containing unreleased out-takes and demos, as well as a third CD with a live performance of the entire album, recorded in 1989 within the scopes of the “Prayer Tour” on 3 evenings at London Wembley Arena.This Deluxe Edition will be released with a 20-sided booklet, featuring previously unknown photos, art, as well as lyrics which is giving a profound overview about that time by band founder Robert Smith.
