HELHEIM, one of Norway’s oldest Viking Metal bands, has revealed details about the upcoming video, which the band has been filming to coincide with the release of the "Åsgards Fall", the MCD due for release on Dark Essence Records on the 1st November. The track the band has chosen to feature in the video is “Dualitet og Ulver” (“Duality and Wolves”) which is a song about Hati and Skoll the two wolves of Norsk legend who attempt to swallow both the sun and the moon. “Dualitet og Ulver” was filmed in the mountains surrounding HELHEIM’s hometown of Bergen, and a series of newly released stills from the video can be found on the band’s website at http://helheim.com/index.php?page=dualitetogulverAside from “Dualitet og Ulver”, the six-track "Åsgards Fall" MCD will contain two epic new tracks, written especially for this release, as well as a new recording of the HELHEIM classic “Jernskogen”, originally found on the “Blod & Ild” album. “Dualitet og Ulver” itself is the video-mix of the track that will appear on the band’s forthcoming full-length release “Heiðinðómr ok Mótgangr”, due out at the beginning of 2011. Recorded at the Conclave and Earshot studios in Bergen, "Åsgards Fall" was produced by HELHEIM and Bjornar Nilsen (VULTURE INDUSTRIES, BLACK HOLE GENERATOR), and was mastered by Herbrand Larsen (ENSLAVED, AUDREY HORNE). The MCD also features guest appearances from Hoest (TAAKE), Gunnar Emmerhoff (EMMERHOF AND THE MELANCHOLY BABIES) and PV on vocals, and Trine Mjanger on French horn.
