Canadian group The Birthday Massacre has become one of the most popular scene-related bands of the past decade with an energetic mix of Eighties-Electronica, aggressive walls of guitar riffs and catchy, cinematic melodies, coupled with a mesmerizing visual concept and a sweeping live presence. On the band’s new EP “Imaginary Monsters”, teenage angst, daily horrors and the proverbial monsters under your bed are being funnelled into three irresistible, new Alternative-Pop-epics walking the tightrope between Gothic, Metal and New Wave.
