British ANATHEMA will be releasing the orchestral album ‘Falling Deeper’ on 9th September. ‘Falling Deeper’ will be a collection of songs from the band’s early days, re-arranged, and with orchestral parts added. The albums including such songs as „Crestfallen“, „Kingdom“ or „Sunset Of Age“. On ‘Eeverwake, you can hear the incredible voice of Anneke van Giersbergen, adding a whole new dimension to one of the band’s earliest acoustic songs.
The record has been produced by Daniel Cavanagh and was recorded and mixed by Andrea Wright at the legendary Parr St Studios, Liverpool (where the likes of Elbow, Coldplay and Echo and the Bunnymen have also recorded albums). The orchestral arrangements are from Dave Stewart who worked so successfully with Anathema on We’re Here Because We’re Here.The band are doing an accoustic gig at The Union Chapel on the 30th Sept as part of KScope showcase with Pineapple Thief and Engineers
