Album Review
As a newcomer, it´s always hard not to be compared with other bands. Due to the age of the protagonists (they are between 17-20!) and the kind of music they make a comparison with KISSIN´ DYAMITE is compulsory. Quite fascinating, why those young members want to play such music, but in this case we have to thank their parents. Within those well composed songs there´s no wonder that there are certain dependences on bands like MÖTLEY CRÜE, H.E.A.T. and even sometimes BON JOVI and other Hard Rock icons. It´s not that RELLIOUS SPIRIT released an album that is outstanding, but in consideration of the fact that those guys are of an age where other adolescents are just watching TV and are engaged with themselves, this release is more than just an average achievement. ‘Gamble Shot’ is a solid album by a young band that is capable of really great things in future. I´m pretty convinced that their live performances are quite persuasive as reviews of support shows for SHAKRA and VOODOO CIRCLE had to tell. Well done, guys!
