Lionheart - “European Tour 2026” - Special Guests: Madball, Gideon, Slope
Originally, LIONHEART planned their tour for November, but they had to reschedule to January 2026. And this was a night worth waiting for, as they brought a roster of three massive support bands with them to the Carlswerk Victoria hall: SLOPE from Germany, GIDEON from Alabama, US, and the New York Hardcore godfathers MADBALL.

Last night, the Industrial backdrop of Cologne’s Essigfabrik served as the perfect pressure cooker for a line-up that felt like a glimpse into the future of heavy music. As the second stop on the “End of the Human era” final European trek, the energy was palpable from the moment the doors opened, with fans packing the hall for a quadruple-bill of modern Metalcore’s most exciting innovators.

Interview with Odo from H.Exe
H.EXE have always worked with contrast, but on ‘Anthems of the Unseen Tide’ they turn it into a method: ‘Initial’ and ‘Legacy’ aren’t “alternate versions” so much as two parallel moral systems. The same songs are judged by different rules - one grounded in full-band physicality, the other returning to the project’s early, machine-led vocabulary - and both are treated as equally canonical.

Since 2001, T.O.Y. from Witten have been characterised by a unique combination of catchy melodies, melancholic lyrics and modern electronic arrangements. More than eight years have passed since the release of their last album. With their new album ‘The Prophet’, T.O.Y. returned on 5th December, and today band founder Volker Lutz answers some questions for us about his musical roots, his plans and, of course, ‘The Prophet’.
