Interview with Johan van Roy (Suicide Commando) and Martin Sane (Fïx8:Sëd8)
Johan and Martin recently returned from the US - Johan did a North American tour with SUICIDE COMMANDO and Martin attended three shows of SKINNY PUPPY’s “Farewell Tour”. I thought of it as a good reason to ask them some questions about the US scene, their concert experience, and also about the future of the concerts and alternative music scene in general. They also discuss their scenic imagery, concert, and release plans (SUICIDE COMMANDO’s new single ‘God of Destruction’ is completed and FÏX8:SËD8’s ‘Octagram’ is in the making), whether they plan to collaborate together, what gives them energy and drive to keep making music.

Interview with
Klaus Schill (synths, guitars, production) and Frank Zwicker (vocals & words) from Sea of Sin
I first saw SEA OF SIN as a supporting act for DIARY OF DREAMS in Dresden. A great, lively concert combining emotional and dynamic stood for the perfect opening of the evening. The new album of the project entitled ‘Tired of Chasing Ghosts’ is scheduled to be released on the 21st of April 2023 and it is a catchy, well-balanced mix of heart-rendering and ass-kicking. About the tour with DIARY OF DREAMS, their new release, their artistic path full of ups and downs, current music scene and who the title Ghosts really are.

Interview with
Riley (vocals) from Steelwing
I have been a massive fan of the band and their vocalist Riley since first listening to their debut ‘Lord of the Wasteland’, after three distinctive records full of variation and top tier Swedish steel they sadly disbanded in 2016. I searched high and low for new efforts of member of the band, doing new stuff with different bands and, be it due to my skill in research or just bad luck, I almost gave up on it. In 2022 I finally found the private account of Riley on Facebook and managed to get him to agree on an interview. He was straight forward with him needing time to answer my questions and after what seemed like an eternity he finally answered to my satisfaction. So here it is my interview with Riley, the vocalist par excellence of STEELWING!

Interview with Vincent Uhlig from 2nd Face
In 2014, Vincent Uhlig set out to create 2nd FACE, a project that would soon make waves in the music industry. Three years later, their debut full-length album ‘Nemesis’ burst onto the scene, earning the band the coveted title of “newcomer of the year”. The album was not only met with high praise from critics, but it also flew off the shelves, leaving no doubt that it was a commercial success. As of 3rd March 2023, the first single from their upcoming album, ‘utOpium’, titled ‘Formula Extinction’, has been released and is receiving positive feedback. The new album promises to be a unique blend of complex, dark, and aggressive yet catchy sounds and is set to be released on 12th May 2023. I had the opportunity to ask Vincent about his musical journey so far, the emotions behind his artistic work, and his upcoming release.

Spherical and mystical music that casts its spell on you, music to dream away: ‘Strata’, the debut album by REMINA, captivates you from the very first moment. The cosmic Doom project is the new band of Heike Langhans, (ex-DRACONIAN, ex-ISON, :LOR3L3:) and Mike Lamb (SOJOURNER, LYSITHEA). ‘Strata’ was recently released and next year the duo will make their stage debut with REMINA at the festival “Stella Nomine - The Blackest One” in Torgau. In this interview, Mike Lamb reveals how REMINA came into being, what musical influences have shaped him and Heike and what is behind the band’s name.
