GRAND((Ø))SIGNAL is the new collaboration between Jacky Meurisse and Tcheleskov Ivanovitch. The name of the project was derived from their respective projects SIGNAL AOUT 42 and GRANDCHAOS. Both artists started composing music in the early 1980s when Belgium burst onto the scene and made waves with its signature drum machine and synth-driven music. Jacky Meurisse has been a prolific artist and music producer throughout the eighties with his projects LE PARK, AMNESIA and PLEASURE GAME. Hits such as ‘Le Dormeur’ and ‘Litchies’ climbed English and French charts and have remained popular club songs to this day. With his main project SIGNAL AOUT 42 (SA42), Jacky has travelled across the world (Brazil, Germany, Italy, Hungary to name a few). Tcheleskov Ivanovitch was a founding member of the obscure cult indie act IVANOVITCH DANS L'OMBRE(DLO), together with Trevosky Ivanovitch. In his solo projects, Tcheleskov has always displayed mightily muscled electronic music fore fronted by powerful imagery. In 2006, under the moniker GRANDCHAOS, he released the mammoth remix album ‘In Sedens’ 2CD for the Denver-based label Vendetta Music. ‘In Sedens’ featured remixes by ARMAGEDDON DILDOS, TYSKE LUDDER, PNE to name a few. Nowadays, GANDCHAOS is signed to the Naples-based EK Product.
The duo delivers his first release, ‘Aktivation’, with a sound heavily influenced by their solo projects as well as current music styles. It's a crossover music between Electronic, Techno, EBM, TBM and New Beat. Tailor-made for dance floors and destined to be appreciated by night clubbers across the globe.
