E-TROPOLIS FESTIVAL RELOCATED TO OBERHAUSEN
An old proverb says: „a rolling stone gathers no moss“! Thus, after three marvelous festivals in Berlin, the time has come to move forward and to begin a new chapter for 2014, to keep everything fresh by a nice change of scenery. Accordingly in 2014 the E-tropolis Festival will change location and relaunch on 22nd February at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen.

Travis relaunch the label which propelled their debut 10” EP release nearly two decades ago for their seventh album ‘Where You Stand’, out August 19th on Red Telephone Box via Kobalt Label Services (KLS). The band’s manager, Ian McAndrew of Wildlife Entertainment said this of the partnership: "We are delighted to be working alongside Kobalt Label Services for the forthcoming album release from Travis. Kobalt offer a truly global distribution and marketing network, an incredibly focused team and particular expertise in digital marketing.

Disarming charm, a fine sense of humor and a unique voice let him become one of the most charismatic personalities of the German entertainment scene. As the frontman of his main band Eisbrecher, the mega-heart with the big mouth rocked the album charts after hitting a remarkable third place. Alongside female race driver Cyndie Allemann the former „Checker“ also currently hosts the show „Auftrag Auto“ (loosely translated “Assignment: Cars”) on the German tv-station Sport 1. His name: Alexander Wesselsky! His call: rock-god and “motör”-professional!
