HEAVEN 17, please remember, were not even intended to be a group. In the beginning was the "British Electric Foundation", or B.E.F., for short. Born out of the collapse of the original Human League, and the brainchild of Martyn Ware, that band's leader, B.E.F. was less a record label, as a portfolio of future musical projects of which HEAVEN 17 would be just one. Ian Craig Marsh, co-founder of the Human League, would join Ware along with Glenn Gregory as lead vocalist the man who would have been the original Human League singer had he not been unavailable. B.E.F. would produce the now iconic Music For Stowaways, and Music Of Quality and Distinction 1, and provided a template that subsequent artists would use from The Assembly in the Eighties, Electronic in the Nineties, and most recently, the Damon Alban and Jamie Hewlett project, Gorillaz. But its HEAVEN 17which would endure and help shape the future of modern music for over thirty years. Their albums, "Penthouse And Pavement" and "The Luxury Gap"allways remains to be modern classics.

Much to the excitement of progressive rock fans worldwide, multi-instrumentalist, producer/engineer, singer/songwriter Billy Sherwood is releasing his new solo CD 'Art Of Survival' on October 5, 2012. As well as being band member/producer of bands such as CIRCA:, YES, World Trade, Conspiracy and more recently The Prog Collective and The Fusion Syndicate, this CD marks the 6th olo release from Sherwood, who performs all instruments and vocals, as well as delivering his signature sonic spectrum in the production. Billy broaches a number of controversial and topical subjects in 'The Art Of Survival'. Songs with titles such as “Drone Decipher”, “Chosen By Divinity”, “The Military Industrial Complex” and “Whose Side Are We On” explore topics such as the idea of extremes in surveillance, paranoia, propaganda, geo-politics, modern age warfare, technology, faith and the art of survival. “The idea of the CD is how the integration of politics, technology, faith and zealotry mix and mingle,” explains Billy.

EDM Master-of-Horror, Figure is releasing the 3rd volume of his wildly popular Monsters series at his favorite time of year. The follow up to his chart-topping Monsters of Drumstep Vol 1 & 2 releases, this full-length LP mixes up a sub-slaughter potion of gruesome proportions as the essential EDM soundtrack for the Halloween season. Monsters Volume 3 is a set of 15 spooky tracks that spans the heavy electronic genres and includes several collaborations. Rating in at a 10 on the Richter Scale is"Pounds of Blood" featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE's Tommy Lee on live drums.
