EPICA was part of a very special recording session last week. watch the result of which the band is very proud below. This videoclip was made for the upcoming Dutch NTR TV show „Niks te gek“, in which mentally disabled persons can make their dreams come true. Ruurd Woltring's biggest wish was to record one of his song with Epica, so the band took his music & lyrics, re-arranged it into an Epica song and invited him into the studio. The whole episode of "Niks te gek" with Ruurd Woltring and Epica will be broadcasted in the Netherlands on September 16th on the Dutch TV channel Nederland 2.

Swedish blues rock superstars, GRAVEYARD, will shortly begin to shoot a video for the song „Goliath“ which comes off the band's highly anticipated third album, „Lights Out“. The video is set to be shot in a quite lo-fi way just like the stunning clip for „Hisingen Blues“. According to the band's management it will go hand in hand with the sound of the song. The set will feature a late night show kinda vibe. Commented the band „it's gonna be quite a show“ - so keep your eyes open! Furthermore, the band has also revealed the tracklist for „Lights Out“:

IZZ Bassist/ Songwriter/ Vocalist, John Galgano, To Release Debut Solo Album on September 11, 2012

Doone Records is pleased to announce the release of Real Life is Meeting, the debut solo album by John Galgano. John Galgano is a founding member of art-rock group, IZZ, and has been one of the band’s primary songwriters throughout its career. Real Life is Meeting presents eight tracks varying in styles and instrumentation, from the catchy, art-pop flavor of “Bigger on the Inside,” to the experimental, synth-based “The Only Thing,” to the 19-minute piece “1000,” all the while taking the listener in unexpected directions.

More than one year after the release of the full length “One Way Out” (published by Worm Hole Death, The Trip Records and The Hydrant Music) and after the release of “Nobody”, Ravenscry released its second video of the song “Calliope”. The video has been directed by Salvatore Perrone in collaboration with Laura Volo. The shooting has been shot into the “Teatro Comunale di Ostiano”, in Italy near Cremona. For this occasion too (as in the previous videoclip) Ravenscry has been dressed by EMP. The actor in the video is Lorenzo Bonacina.
