The Stranglers
The release of “Giants”, the eagerly awaited new studio album by THE STRANGLERS, is announced for March 9th, 2012. The record coincides with an extensive European tour, kicking off March 1st in the UK, ending April 27th in Belgium. The Stranglers are Jet Black (drums), JJ Burnel (bass and lead vocals), Dave Greenfield (keyboards) and Baz Warne (guitar and lead vocals). Giants is featuring JJ Burnel and Baz Warne on shared vocal duties, boasting the trademark STRANGERLS’ bass lines and keyboard runs as well as a tango (!) plus the first instrumental the band has recorded in over twenty years.

Manic Street Preachers
They count among the most creative bands of the kingdom. Since mid 90ies, THE MANIC STREET PREACHERS from Wales belong to the spear heads of British rock music. Eight of ten studio albums reached British Top10, five of them even made it into the top three. Last October, the band released their singles compilation ‘National Treasures - The Complete Singles’.

Uriah Heep & Nazareth
Both URIAH HEEP & NAZARETH need no too detailed introduction to rock fans. That’s why a little breakdown should be more than enough. Both bands are icons in their own right and their respective genre. URIAH HEEP’s career kicked off in 1969 and still seen as a precursor to the progressive metal genre, being one of the first bands to mingle elements of both worlds, but rather emphasizing melodic elements later. Last year saw the band releasing ‘Into The Wild’ most likely extensively covered in Münster.

Nightwish & Support: Battle Beast, Eklipse
It took a while until fans were finally receiving a new NIGHTWISH album. After more than four years, the band finally released the long awaited fifth studio album ‘Imaginaerum’. The album is also the soundtrack for a movie whose protagonist is an old balladeer with an unbelievable imagination. ‘Imaginaerum’ appeals to our fantasy and long forgotten longings from a magical world.

Icon of Coil & Komor Kommando
ICON OF COIL, the project of Andy LaPlegua, who is now famous for COMBICHRIST, is back on German stages and will stop in Bochum and several other cities (see dates below). The electronic Norwegian project was already founded back in 1997, releasing the so far last CD, ‘Machines are us’, in 2004. Then, Andy put the project to rest to concentrate more on COMBICHRIST, being quite successful with it.
