Darkness Over Christmas Tour 2009 - Heaven Shall Burn, Dark Tranquillity, Swashbuckle, Deadlock
Right after Christmas with its hopefully very calm and relaxing times, the LKA Stuttgart together with Bleeding Nose seem to have decided to put an end to all this tranquillity and bring the metal heads all around back to life. The package they are offering the fans on December 30th is a quite unusual, but still very interesting one. HEAVEN SHALL BURN, the German Metalcore formation from Saalfeld, who have managed to become very well-known during the last years, especially due to their fantastic energetic live performances, will be headlining this so-called "Darkness Over X-Mas Tour". Their latest album, ‘Iconoclast (Part 1: The Final Resistance)’ has been in stores now since 2008, and this year they also gave their fans a life sign, releasing the live DVD ‘Bildersturm: Iconoclast II (The Visual Resistance)’.
Along with HEAVEN SHALL BURN come the congenial guys from DARK TRANQUILLITY from Sweden. The six Death Metal musicians are currently working on the ninth DT long-player, the follow-up to ‘Fiction’ from 2007, which will bear the name ‘We are the Void’ and will hopefully be in stores in March 2010. SWASHBUCKLE, the US-based Thrash band with a very obvious fondness for pirates, and the German Melo-Death-group DEADLOCK will be completing this evening's billing, so I guess this year will definitely end with a lot of head banging and making a great party together with some awesome bans in the LKA Stuttgart.
