The two musicians Dirk Lakomy and Tobias Birkenweil met first in 1992 to begin a musical partnership. During the first years they had sent Remixes to their particular bands (Derriere Le Miroir, In My Rosary, DNS) mutually before starting a project together in 2002 which is called Lakobeil. They are inspired by early 80s EBM music and punk and use those influences for creating their own thing of electro music which arrived the listeners very friendly. After the release of their debutalbum “Strange Ecnounters” last year and the following “Crash” EP Lakobeil are willing to release their next bomb. The first Download single of the German duo is called “Drowning Lullaby (Song To Baal) and will be released in September. The single contains two brand new original songs, an exclusive collaboration with All Living Fear member Matthew North and remixes from !distain, Bionic and more.
