U2 released on 27th February their 12th studio album ‘No Line on the Horizon’. Critics are rave and overly enthusiastic about ‘No Line on the Horizon’. On 22nd May 2009 already release the second single from their platinum certified new album ‘No Line on the Horizon’, named ‘Magnificent’.
U2 were founded in 1976 by Bono (Vocals), The Edge (Guitar), Adam Clayton (Bass), and Larry Mullen Jr. (Drums). Within the course of their meanwhile three decades spanning career the band sold over 140 Mio albums worldwide and received more gold, platinum and diamond awards than any other band. Alone 22 Grammys and 7 Brit Awards are on their accounts. In 2005 they’ve been admitted to the Rock’n’ Roll Hall of Fame. In 2007 the German Phono Academy rewarded Bono with the “Echo Special price for Global Engagement”.
Since last Friday there are 5 different editions of ‘No Line on the Horizon’ available amongst others a Vinyl and a limited Box-Set including a bonus DVD.
