On 4th September you should be careful as that’ll be the day when the debut full-length of LAST ONE DYING sees the light of day and relentlessly pour down on you. With ‘The Hour of Lead’ they will be causing a lead storm and impressively prove, why they’re the ones to survive until the end. The debut has been produced by Patrick “Pedi” Karwatka and will be released via Good Old Boys Records. The band’s sound has impressively evolved over the 3 years of its existence. Even though taking elements of Heavy Metal Hardcore, Modern Metal, Thrash, New Wave of American Heavy Metal and Metalcore into their sound, it’s impossible to pigeonhole them into a specific genre. Songs like the incredibly sung title track, the gut kicks ‘Annabel Lee’ and ‘Hate Me’ (feat. Mantas, Ex-Venom) or the mosh monster ‘Far Away’ draw their tension from the brutal betas and hyper melodic guitar work, as well as the eclectic vocals ranging between clean and scream sections.

The technically challenging rhythm section turns out much diversified, the much loved dynamics between loud and low won’t be strained too hard and while we’re talking about drumming. Bodo “Rhadamanthys” Stricker simultaneously plays with CALLEJON! Already with their 2006 EP ‘Anthems of the Lost’, LAST ONE DYING stirred up lots of dust. The 4 track disc was met with rave reception in over 20 magazines, putting them on the same page with acts such as KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM, CALIBAN or HEAVEN SHALL BURN. IN Metal Hammer magazine, they’ve been chosen as ‘Demo of the Month’. Such echoes from the media brought the band much attention and besides shows with LAMB OF GOD, and UNEARTH a Germany Tour with SEPULTURA.

With the new masterpiece ‘The Hour of Lead’, the band should be able to relate to their past successes and to become one of the best newcomers in the metal genre.
