2010 will be the year of APOCALYPTICA. Even before their 7th studio album ‘7th Symphony’ will hit the streets at the end of August, 6th August will see the release of the preceding single ‘End Of Me’, featuring Gavin Rossdale, front man of UK rockers of BUSH. The song is a straight rock piece that has steam under the hood and is one of four vocal tracks on the new album! Rossdale, who’s been a regular in 1990s Billboard charts with his Post-Grunge band BUSH, has the perfect voice for this track. As if the song was tailor made for him by cellists Eicca Toppinen, Perttu Kivilaakso, Paavo Lötjönen and drummer Mikko Sirén, his raw but at the same time brittle and powerful voice is of full service to the song. The cellos, sounding like modern rock guitars instantly make an entity with Rossdale’s unique voice.

If he’s descending into melancholy depths, the cellos are following him; if he’s getting rousing and captivating then Toppinnen & Co are at his side. Wild, demanding, but never too aggressive ‘End Of Me’ is rocking and shows a new face of APOCALYPTICA!
