CyBozz is a Berlin-based Electro/Industrial band, founded by Andreas Steckmann (eg. Manipulation). The name already suggests harsh sounding material. The Cybozz sound is a mixture of rhythmical sequences and noise elements, atmospheric sounds and strange samples, occasionally supported by distorted vocals.The musical range covers “to-the-floor” electro-songs and harsh, rhythmical industrial music. Cybozz members are musicians and dancers mainly from the local scene in Berlin: Andreas Steckmann (Programming, Performance), Monika (Perfomance), Jörg Key Hilsbeck (Machines) and Frank Glaßl (Drums).
Cybozz songs have already been released on 3 electronic-music compilations, the 1. Fear Section Sampler (2003) featured their version of Human League’s “Being Boiled”, the song “Drug” appeared on a limited Solitary Experiments birthday sampler and “Geburt einer Nation” has recently been released on the “Chrom de la Chrom II” compilation.
Their 12-tracks debut album “Horrorscope” will be released as download on 7th of December at Ionium Records.
