Album Review
‘Bringer of Plagues’ is the sophomore album delivered straight from the mad minds of DIVINE HERESY. It will be the band's first album to feature their brand new vocalist Travis Neal and bassist Joe Payne. Twelve tracks are expressed and exposed with some tending to stand out more than others i.e. ‘Undivine Prophecies’ and ‘Face Breaker’ along with ‘Monolithic Doomsday Devices’, ‘Enemy Kill’ and ‘Darkness Embedded’ - these are just the pick of the litter if you will. All which unleash this overwhelming wave of energy that clearly states that DIVINE HERESY is here and here to stay. You pretty much get tossed around a basic guitar riff then solo and then have the drums show off their thing unleashing a repeating cycle as each song goes right on through one another. Making this album is a fast race of music that seems to go right on through and then go around all over again without you even noticing. DIVINE HERESY has made an album that rounds off their sound just right making it be just as brutalizing as any other band would make it. So beware the ‘Bringer of Plagues’ or else the plague will find its way inside of you.
