April has been a busy month because of the preparations for the upcoming album "Black Friday" (yes, it's NOT gonna be called "FH4"!). We've been busy shooting a short movie to be released along with the album because the record is a concept album that tells a story in 16 songs. And because nobody listens to whole CDs from start to finish anymore I figured it might be a good idea to visualize the story.
"Black Friday" will hopefully be released in late Sept./early Oct. 2010 and I will spend most of June producing it. There'll be some surprises on that record, but if you wanna catch a glimpse of the new tracks, just head over to my YouTube Channel and check out the Live/Backstage videos. Most of those (from Mera Luna to Kinetik) include demo versions of new songs :)
NORTH AMERICA / FESTIVAL KINETIK 3.0
In May I flew over to Festival Kinetik in Montreal/Canada to play the first ever Faderhead show in North America. The festival was a blast and I had tons of fun meeting so many new people, seeing my musician buddies again (you never see each other cause everyone is always busy travelling - except at these festivals) and of course playing for a packed club! Thanks everyone for making this a very cool trip.”
