Tuomas Holopainen – the keyboardist and main songwriter of NIGHTWISH - has spent most of the year 2013 writing and producing his solo album, called 'The Life And Times Of Scrooge'. It will be released on April, 11th. Today, the first album trailer is released. It contains amazing material, shoot by video director Ville Lipiäinen. Click here. Do you remember the Norwegian goth metal legends, The Sins Of Thy Beloved? They have been dormant since quite a while and after years of a rumored reunion, Stig Johansen and Anders Thue have instead risen from the ashes with a new band, Savn, and a new vision. The seeds for Savn (translated: Deprivation) officially took root in 2013 when multi-instrumentalist Stig contacted Midnattsol vocalist and long-time friend Carmen Elise Espenæs about singing one song for the planned album. She agreed, and he and Anders (keyboards) were so pleased with the final result they invited Carmen to sing on the entire record.- Details

Eden's Curse are disappointed to announce the departure of Pete Newdeck from the band. Pete has been the drummer of the group since it's formation in 2006 and has been a key member of the writing team during those eight years together.
